Germany’s Dorothée Rapp became interested in snooker after watching the 2013 professional World Championship on Eurosport.

She entered her first World Women’s Snooker event at the 2016 Paul Hunter Women’s Classic and has returned regularly since, rising to 36th in the rankings at the end of the 2017/18 season.
