Career Summary

Latvia’s Tatjana Vasiljeva reached her first final on the World Women’s Snooker Tour at the 2016 UK Ladies Championship in Leeds England, at the time rising to a career-high ranking of number three.

In 2016 she also competed at the final stages of a professional event for the first time, running three-time ranking event winner Marco Fu close at the Riga Masters.

Vasiljeva is also a three-time winner of the WLBS Mixed Pairs World Championship event, victorious alongside Joe Perry in 2010-12.

Previously coached by 1979 world champion Terry Griffiths in Wales, Vasiljeva showed her dedication to the sport as she would regularly travel from Daugavpils from Riga to practice in her home country.
