Yee Ting Cheung entered her first WWS event at the 2018 Festival of Women’s Snooker, reaching the last 16 of the 6-Red World Women’s Championship in Leeds before losing to eventual champion Reanne Evans.
Her strongest performance to date came later that year at the Australian Women’s Open where she defeated Kathy Howden to reach her first quarter-final, before losing out to Evans again.
She claimed her first WWS title at the 2018 10-Red World Championship (Challenge Cup) with victory against England’s Emma Parker.
