Bio

Latvia’s Anna Prisjažņuka is a three-time world ranking event quarter-finalist and two-time EBSA European Women’s Snooker champion.

From Latvia, Prisjažņuka made her Tour debut in 2014 as she competed in three events from 2014-15, reaching the last 16 stage of the World Championship on two occasions.

She would return a decade later at the 2025 UK Championship, where she earned a notable victory against world number six Anupama Ramachandran on her way to reaching the quarter-finals of a world ranking event for the first time.

Although she would lose to top ranked Mink Nutcharut of Thailand, further quarter-final appearances at the WSF Women’s Championship and Belgian Women’s Open early in 2026 saw her climb to a new high world ranking of number 17.

European Champion

Outside of the WWS Tour, Prisjažņuka has won the EBSA European Women’s Championship on two occasions, defeating Wendy Jans (2023) and Rebecca Kenna (2025) to become only the fourth multiple winner of the event.

She also reached the final in 2017 and 2024.
