This year’s annual World Women’s Snooker Day will take place during the World Snooker Championship on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
Activities will be organised at the Cue Zone in the Sheffield Winter Garden with the aim of raising awareness of the World Women’s Snooker Tour and the opportunities available for women to pick up a cue and play our sport competitively at all levels. The day will help promote women’s snooker during the BBC’s Crucible coverage.

During the past decade women’s snooker has developed into a truly international global tour and has become an established qualifying pathway to the professional World Snooker Tour (WST).
With events held across the globe, the Tour provides inspirational opportunities and continues to promote inclusivity for women and girls of all age groups, experience and levels of ability.
The day will be coordinated by both World Snooker Tour and WWS. Qualified WPBSA Snooker Coaches Tessa Davidson and Zoe Killington will be joined by selected tour players including Tallulah Cousins, who began competing in WWS Tour events after taking part in the first EPSB Women’s Snooker Open Day last year.

As in previous years, players and supporters of women’s snooker are encouraged to support the day and to help promote the sport to women and girls everywhere, whether in Sheffield on the day, or online via social media using the #WomensSnooker hashtag.
