Matt Huart was co-opted to the board of World Women’s Snooker in March 2018.
Head of Communications at the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) since 2015, Huart is passionate about the international development of women’s snooker and has played a key role in the global expansion of the WWS Tour in recent years.
In particular, he has played a significant part in the first-ever staging of the World Women’s Snooker Championship in China in 2024, whilst also becoming a regular member of the on site tournament delivery team.
Heavily involved across the sport including the World Disability Billiards and Snooker Tour, the WPBSA Q Tour, World Snooker Federation and the professional World Snooker Tour, Huart brings a wealth of experience from snooker to the WWS Tour.
He has also been a director and CEO of the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards since October 2025.
Prior to joining the WPBSA, Huart was a practising solicitor based in East Yorkshire, and also was the author of ‘Pro Snooker Blog’, one of snooker’s leading fan blogs from 2008-2015.
