World Women’s Snooker (WWS) has announced that the this season’s Landywood British Women’s Open will take place from 27-29 March 2026 at the Landywood Snooker Club in Walsall.
Home of the British Open since 2023, the Landywood Snooker Club is widely recognised as one of England’s leading snooker facilities and will once again continue as the headline sponsor for the prestigious world ranking event. The competition is once again set to be the penultimate event of the season, ahead of the season-ending World Championship in China.
Hong Kong China’s Ng On Yee is the two-time defending champion at the event, having defeated world number one Mink Nutcharut in each of the last two finals. Last season’s event also saw wins for Ellise Scott (Under-21) and Tessa Davidson (Seniors) at the Staffordshire venue.
The event was first staged back in 1983, with England’s Reanne Evans having claimed a record six titles between 2004-2018 and Allison Fisher, Kelly Fisher, Karen Corr and Ann-Marie Farren the only other multiple British Open champions.
