Tournament information for the Eden Women’s Masters is now available:

The fourth World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Tour ranking tournament of the season, the Eden Women’s Masters will run from 17-19 November at Frames Sports Bar, London, England.

The tournament celebrates its 10th anniversary this weekend and see the likes of defending champion and world number one Mink Nutcharut, 12-time world champion Reanne Evans, former world number three Rebecca Kenna and two-time ranking event winner Jamie Hunter among the top seeds.

Alongside the main competition, there will also be side-tournaments held for both Seniors and Under-21 players, as well as the held over UK Championship Seniors final between Tessa Davidson and Mary Talbot-Deegan.

Finally, there will be a Challenge Cup competition staged on Sunday, for players already knocked out of the main competition prior to the last 16.

The event will again be sponsored by Eden Resources, supporters of the WWS Tour for over a decade.

Format

The format will be as follows:

  • The top three seeded players have been seeded through to the last 16 stage.
  • The remaining players have been drawn in seven groups of a maximum of four players
  • The top two players from each group will progress to the knockout stage
  • The 12 best qualifiers will be seeded straight into last 16
    • The two remaining qualifiers will play a preliminary round match (last 32) on Saturday evening to reach the last 16
  • All qualifiers from the group stages will be positioned in the knockout draw according to group stage performance in line with our established qualifying criteria

Group matches will be played over the best of three frames, knockout rounds to be 5/5/5/7/7.

The format for all side-tournaments will be straight knockout.
