Ng Hits Record Ton
Three-time world champion Ng On Yee has scored the highest ever break by a woman at the Cazoo World Championship with a run of 115 during her opening round match against Michael Holt.
The Hong Kong ace had already opened the match with a break of 55, before her landmark century in frame three shattered the previous record of 106 by Kelly Fisher at the 2002 World Championship.
Ng made the break just hours after world number one Mink Nutcharut hit a break of exactly 100, to end the 21-year wait for a second century break by a woman at our sport’s most prestigious event.
