India’s Amee Kamani lifted her biggest title to date on the World Women’s Snooker Tour at the 2023 World Cup alongside teammate Anupama Ramachandran in Thailand.
Making her return to the Tour almoat six years on from her first appearance, Amee was part of a Team India which progressed through their group before seeing off Thailand C, Thailand A and finally England A, represented by 12-time world champion Reanne Evans and world number four Rebecca Kenna, to lift the prestigious title.
Amee had previously made her Tour debut at the 2017 World Championship in Singapore, winning the Challenge Cup tournament following victory against Thailand’s Mink Nutcharut in the final.
Six years on, Kamani would repeat the feat at the 2023 edition of the biggest tournament on the WWS calendar, defeating another Thai, Waratthanun Sukritthanes 3-2 to take the title.
In September 2023, Amee played in the UK Women’s Snooker Championship for the first time, reaching the quarter-finals before losing out to reigning world champion Baipat Siripaporn.

In May 2025, Kamani became the first ever player from India to compile a century break on the WWS Tour as she scored 107 against Thailand’s Sudtida Yingheng during the group stage. She would go on to reach the quarter-finals of the event for the first time, enough to make her debut in the top 10 of the official world rankings.
