Bio

Chucky Preston made an immediate impression on the World Women’s Snooker Tour by reaching the quarter-finals of her debut tournament at the 2019 Eden Masters in Coulsdon.

Victories against Diana Schuler, Kristina Mladenovic and Jenny Poulter were enough for Northern Ireland’s Chucky to top her round robin group, before she defeated Hong Kong’s Ho Yee Ki in the last 16.

Her run was ended by eventual champion Reanne Evans, as would also be the case two years later as she reached her second quarter-final at the 2021 UK Championship.

She reached her first final at the 2020 Belgian Women’s Open, losing out to Caty Dehaene in the final of the Challenge Cup, which saw all three frames decided on the final black.
