Bio

Thailand’s Natcharin Sornprasert reached the quarter-finals of a world ranking event for the first time in 2025 aged only 14.

One of the rising stars of the WWS Tour, Sornprasert made a career breakthrough at the 2025 Niche Cues Women’s Open as she won all four of her group stage matches – including against top seeds Narucha Phoemphul and Yeeting Cheung – to reach the knockout rounds.

Her run continued with a deciding-frame victory against compatriot Panchaya Channoi – before losing out to two-time ranking event winner Ploychompoo Laokiatphong in the quarter-finals.

Sornparsert had made her Tour debut at the 2023 World Championship at the Hi-End Snooker Club as an 11-year-old and impressed as she claimed frames against top ten ranked players Rebecca Kenna and Tessa Davidson, ultimately losing to the latter at the last 32 stage.
