Tournament information for this weekend’s WineCellars.com US Open is now available:

The opening ranking event of the 2023/24 World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Tour gets underway this Friday at Ox Billiards in Seattle.

Following the successful first edition of the event last August, the tournament returns to the United States with an increased prize fund and a 16-player field which includes four of the world’s top ranked players.

These include former world champions Mink Nutcharut and Ng On Yee, while defending champion Jamie Hunter also returns along with her final opponent Rebecca Kenna.

Also among the field are Germany’s Diana Schuler and former ranking event winner Jaique Ip, while Canada’s Maryann McConnell makes her first tour appearance in an incredible 28 years as she returns to competitive action on the green baize.

In addition to the main tournament, there will be a Challenge Cup competition held on Sunday for players already out of the tournament prior to the final day.
