WineCellars.com US Women’s Open to Return in 2024

It has today been announced that the WineCellars.com® US Women’s Snooker Open will return to Ox Billiards, Seattle, United States from 9-11 August 2024.

The third staging of the world ranking event will represent the season-opener for the second successive year and aims to build upon last year’s fantastic event which saw Thailand’s Mink Nutcharut claim the title for the first time in her career.

History was made at the event as both Mink and runner-up Ng On Yee of Hong Kong China, compiled century breaks at the unique Ox venue, the first by female players in official competition in the United States.

WineCellars.com® will once again be the title sponsors for the event, as part of their extensive and active promotion of snooker throughout the USA. The event will again be held at the stunning Ox Billiards in Seattle, Washington, which houses four full-size Xing Pai tables and has also hosted the US National Snooker Championship in 2022.

Supported by Mike Dominguez, owner of Ox Billiards, last season’s tournament saw a diverse field of players from the US and Canada, including returning Tour player Maryann McConnell – alongside the world’s top two current ranked players who contested a thrilling final a year ago.

Both WWS and Ox remain committed to the continued growth of women’s snooker in the United States and are excited to stage the event once again this summer.
