England’s Reanne Evans will take on 18-year-old Panchaya Channoi in the final of the 2026 World Women’s Snooker Championship which will be held on Tuesday at the Snooker Sports Arena in Dongguan Changping, China.

The pair will clash in their first-ever head to head meeting on the World Women’s Snooker Tour after they each progressed from their respective semi-final matches on Monday.

Record 12-time world champion Evans will bid to make history and is set to compete in her first world final since her previous victory in 2019. The world number four came through a comfortable 5-1 winner against three-time world champion OnYee Ng with a top break of 55 to seal her place in the title match.

With a 100% record from her previous 12 world finals, Evans will be hoping to lift the Mandy Fisher Trophy and claim what would surely be one of her biggest achievements from an already peerless career.

Standing in her way will be Thailand’s Panchaya Channoi, who having previously claimed the scalp of reigning champion Bai Yulu at the quarter-finals stage, scored a 5-3 success against compatriot Mink Nutcharut to reach her first world final.

Having not previously progressed beyond the last 16 stage during her prior three appearances, the rising star has enjoyed a breakthrough tournament in China and is now guaranteed to climb into the world’s top 10, irrespective of the final result.

Channoi will bid to become the third winner from Thailand, following Mink (2022) and Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan (2023) and would be the youngest world champion since Ann-Marie Farren in 1987. She would become the fourth first-time winner from the previous five stagings.

The best of 11 frames title match will begin at 12:00m CST / 5:00am BST broadcast live internationally via YouTube.

Channoi Defends, Xinshun Claims Black Ball Win

The penultimate day also saw the conclusion of the Under-21 and Seniors World Championship events with Panchaya Channoi and China’s Deng Xinshun having claimed the world titles respectively.

Thailand’s Channoi came back from 0-2 behind to defeat China’s Wang Ruotong 3-2 and complete the successful defence of her World Women’s Under-21 title this evening.

The reigning champion began the day with a 3-0 victory against Yitong Wang at the start of the day prior to her main event win against Mink, before defeating local favourite Liu Ziling and ultimately 14-year-old Wang to lift the trophy.

Channoi had trailed early in the final as her opponent scored breaks of 33 and 43 to move to within one of the title, but the Thai player responded with a run of 74 on her way to securing a memorable victory.

In an all-Chinese final in the World Women’s Seniors Championship it was Deng Xinshun who won a dramatic black-ball decider to become the first player from China to win the over-40s event in its history.

Up against compatriot Han Fang, who had also finished as runner-up during the previous two years, it was Xinshun who secured a famous victory with an impressive brown to black clearance in the final frame.

Both Channoi and Deng will receive their winner’s trophies as part of the overall awards ceremony following the main event final on Tuesday.
