The 2026 Taom UK Women’s Snooker Championship is now open for entry as the tournament returns to the Northern Snooker Centre, Leeds on 4-6 September.
The second oldest event on the World Women’s Snooker Tour (WWS) calendar, the prestigious UK Championship will mark the 2026/27 season-opener as the world’s best female snooker players contest the title in Leeds.
China’s Bai Yulu will be aiming for a hat-trick of UK Championship wins after successfully retaining the title by defeating OnYee Ng 4-2 in last year’s final. The record is held by England’s Reanne Evans, who has won the event on 12 occasions since 2005, with compatriot Tessa Davidson and Hong Kong China’s also having claimed the title on multiple occasions.
There were also wins for Davidson in the Seniors competition and Narucha Phoemphul in the Under-21 tournament last year.
Taom Returns as Title Sponsor
Taom Billiards, arguably the most recognisable chalk brand in cue sports and Official Chalk Partner of the WWS Tour, will continue as title sponsors of the event for a fourth successive season.
Alongside the main competition, there will also be side-tournaments played for our Under-21 and Seniors (Over-40s) players, with a Challenge Cup on the Sunday to guarantee that all players will have at least one match on the final day.

HOW TO ENTER
All entries must be received through WPBSA SnookerScores by completing the following steps:
- Register an account / Log In to WPBSA SnookerScores
- Select an event from the WWS organisation page or from the ‘My Player’ section of your account and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Pay your entry fee from your ‘My Payments’ tab.
Your entry will only be formally accepted upon receipt of your online entry AND payment of your entry fee by the event entry deadline.
The closing date for entry/payment of entry fees is 12:00pm BST, Friday 28 August 2026.
