World Women’s Snooker (WWS) is pleased to announce that the UK Women’s Snooker Championship will return to the iconic Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds, England on 4-6 September.
The UK Championship is one of the most prestigious events on the calendar, having been staged on 38 previous occasions since the inaugural event in 1982, and is set to be the 2026/27 season opener.
Bai Yulu will be aiming for a hat-trick of UK Championship wins after successfully retaining the title by defeating OnYee Ng 4-2 in last year’s final. Reanne Evans holds the record for the event with 12 victories.

The tournament will once again be held in partnership with host venue the Northern Snooker Centre, which remains one of the outstanding snooker facilities in the UK and has been the home of the competition since 2015.
Alongside the main event, there will also be side-tournaments played for our Under-21 and Seniors (Over-40s) players, won last season by Narucha Phoemphul and Tessa Davidson respectively.
As in previous years, a Challenge Cup (six reds) will be played on the Sunday to guarantee that all players will have at least one match on the final day.
Further information, including the event entry pack, will be available in due course.
