Tournament information for the 2025 World Women’s Snooker Championship in Dongguan Changping, China is now available.
The final event of this season’s World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Tour will see the 42nd staging of the prestigious World Women’s Snooker Championship as China’s Bai Yulu is set to defend her title at the Changping Gymnasium, China.
Held for the second successive year at the venue, the tournament will see an incredible 74 contest three World Championship tournaments – including Seniors and Under-21 competitions – with the winner of the main event set to claim a two-year professional World Snooker Tour card from next season.
An all-star field will include eight of the world’s top ten players, with reigning champion Bai, world number one Mink Nutcharut, three-time winner Ng On Yee and record 12-time champion Reanne Evans set to begin among the favourites to lift the Mandy Fisher Trophy on Tuesday 27 May.
Live streaming from the Main tournament will be available with further details to be confirmed prior to the event.
The format for the main event will be as follows:
Group matches will be played over the best of five frames, knockout rounds to be 5/7/7/9/11.
The Under-21 and Seniors Championships will be contested as straight knockout tournaments, all matches best of five frames.
