Entry is now open for the 2025 Australian Women’s Snooker Open as the World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Tour returns to Sydney for the sixth time.
Recognised as a WWS Tour ranking event since 2018, last year’s competition saw world number one Mink Nutcharut lift the title for a second time following a thrilling black-ball finish against fellow two-time winner Ng On Yee in the title match.
This year’s four-day event is once again set to see the best female players from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond contest the main tournament title, as well as a Challenge Cup side-tournament for players who do not qualify from the round-robin group stages.
For the first time, this year’s event will also include side-tournaments for Under-21 and Seniors (over-40s) players, offering further opportunity for players to play and gain valuable ranking points on those ranking lists.
Once again, the event will be organised and run by the Australian Billiards and Snooker Council in partnership with WWS. The event is made possible by the crucial sponsorship provided by Mounties, The Snooker Shop and CL&S.
Entries for this event are to be made via the Australian Billiards and Snooker Council website.
The closing date for entry/payment of entry fees is 26 September 2025.
Full tournament information can be found within the event entry pack but if you have any further queries, please contact the ABSC or WWS for more information.
