Hong Kong’s Fong Mei Mei made her WWS debut at the 2017 Festival of Women’s Snooker, notably winning three matches to reach the semi-finals of the World Women’s 10-Red Championship in Leeds before losing out 3-1 to countrywoman Ng On Yee.
That result remains her strongest performance to date, further quarter-finals having come at the 2017 Paul Hunter Women’s Classic, 2019 UK Women’s Snooker Championship and most recently the 2026 Belgian Open.
Nicknamed ‘Cherry’ – she has also reached the last 16 stage of the World Women’s Snooker Championship on four separate occasions (2018, 2019, 2024, 2026).
Her highest Tour break was a run of 63 at the 2025 British Open.
