It has today been announced by the WPBSA that World Women’s Snooker Tour players Reanne Evans and Rebecca Kenna will be among the WPBSA qualifiers who will compete at this year’s Betfred World Snooker Championship in Sheffield.

The qualifying rounds will be held at the English Institute of Sport from 5-14 April 2021, with a field of 128 players set to be reduced to just 16 who will qualify to play at the final stages of the event at the Crucible Theatre.

Reigning world women’s champion Evans, who memorably defeated Robin Hull in the opening round of the competition back in 2017, will be hoping for a repeat prior to becoming a full-time professional at the start of next season.

For Kenna the tournament will mark her professional World Championship debut, two months after she competed on the World Snooker Tour for the first time at the Shoot Out.

World Women’s Snooker would like to wish both players the best of luck in Sheffield.
